Riya Anpat

Riya started working as physiotherapist after completing her bachelor’s degree from India. She has worked in different hospital settings covering inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. With gaining experience, she also worked in neuro-musculoskeletal outpatient clinics as a lead clinical physiotherapist where she upgraded her manual therapy specifically in spinal and hip pain.

To develop her advance practice, Riya has completed the Master’s degree in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy from University of Birmingham. While completing the Master’s degree Riya was successful in gaining membership to the prestigious subgroup of physiotherapists known as MACP.

Riya continues to work in the NHS as a senior MSK Physiotherapist at Birmingham Community Healthcare.  She is continuing her professional development and improving clinical reasoning skills with active participation in  Research and Clinical Audit processes.
